What is Soar & Roar Festival?

Soar & Roar Festival is fundraising event for Special Olympics Australia. The event celebrates International Day of People with Disability and is known as Australia’s most inclusive motoring festival.

Who can take part in Soar & Roar Festival?

Drivers: If you’ve got a classic or exotic car, you can register to take part in one of our rides. Starting points are around the Sydney area and all rides converge on Sydney Motorsport Park. As a driver you’ll be assigned a person with intellectual disabilities to give a ride in your car to Sydney Motorsport Park. Once at Sydney Motorsport Park, you’ll do a lap of the track, take part on our opening ceremony, then enjoy the day until the time comes to do another few laps with new passengers.

Motorcyclists: Motorcyclists are invited to join one of our many motorcycle rides from around New South Wales to Sydney Motorsport Park. Once at Sydney Motorsport Park, you’ll do a lap of the track, take part on our opening ceremony, then enjoy the rest of the day.

People with Intellectual Disabilities: Families, carers, disability support providers and those with an intellectual disability are invited to register to reserve your spot for Soar & Roar Festival today.

Show & Shine: Motoring enthusiasts can register to take part in our inaugural Show & Shine event. Find out more details here.

Billy Cart Drivers:  You can register to build and drive your own bill cart as part of our Soar & Roar Billy Cart derby. Billy Cart Derby is open to everyone. Register here.
